Swap ‘Til You Drop! @ Dome Bar (28th June)
Monday, June 1st, 2009

Winter’s just around the corner and unless you’re as hairy as Hugh Jackman, you’re probably burrowing through your wardrobe looking for thicker layers to shield you from the cold. Now, if you’re anything like me, you would’ve found half a closet full of clothes you never knew you had or don’t fit into anymore as a result of excess chocolate consumption. Rather than staring blankly at your mound of clothing before trying to squish them all back to where they came from, why not do something useful instead and drop down to Dome Bar in Surry Hills on the 28th June? Some students from the Oaktree Foundation are holding a clothes swap party. So think: giant public closet. All proceeds go towards the East Timorese Livelihood Program. There will be bubbly, nibblies and a fashion parade afterwards to boot.
Remember, it’s not just a place to dump your junk. If you would never be caught dead in it in a million years, chances are, no-one else will.

You say ‘as hairy as Hugh Jackman’ as though it’s a bad thing!
:O
Anyway, will be there with bells on! Looks like it’ll be fun.
